First Southern Bank employees proudly support the Employees Caring for Our Community program.
Through the Employees Caring for Our Community fund, First Southern Bank employees are able to provide financial support for local non-profit organizations. The employees of First Southern Bank raise funds throughout the year through efforts such as: jean day Friday, craft auctions, basket raffles and much more. All funds collected go back to help the community we live, work and play in.
Since the start of the Employees Caring for Our Community project, the employees have donated over $100,000 back to local organizations such as the Austin Wade Foundation, CASA of Williamson County, Gum Drops, Hospice of Southern Illinois, and St. Francis Care. Checks are presented to the non-profit organizations in December every year.
First Southern Bank employees are leaders in our local community when it comes to community service. Our commitment does not stop by just writing a check. Our employees often lend their hands and their time to help out by volunteering in our community.
For 2022 & 2023 the Employees Caring for Our Community recipients are: St. Francis Care, Hospice of Southern Illinois, and Gum Drops.
